Abstract

Business internationalization refers to the practice of expanding across borders. The intention is to
get closer to the product and service users, the overall outcome being the creation of new customer bases.
Notably, this process has been necessitated by stiff marketplace competition in which customer-centeredness
has been cited to be central to the success of company operations.
