Examining Organizational Culture of Cronyism in Korean Companies

This paper has been conducted the culture of cronyism of Korean companies based on the concept
model by Khatri & Tsang [16] through in-depth interviews. Using Turhan [26] questionnaires, we draw on the
main influencing factors and the outcome factors of cronyism. These results offer the cronyism effects into the
job satisfaction, job commitment, flattery of individuals, and performance, inertia, and morale of
organizational. Through this, we can ascertain the culture of cronyism of domestic companies, exploratory
characteristics as the basis of future research. For this reason, interviews as a face to face have been held with
personnel representatives who could best capture cronyism. And analyzed the contents according to the
characteristics of the companies.
