Abstract

This study focuses on the difference of employee reactions differing from the types of work places.
What kind of difference will employees show according to two types of places which have different
characteristics. To answer this question, I will explore theoretical background of place, particularly introducing
the most distinct characteristics. Then I will explain the difference of reactions of employees so that I suggest
the importance of place. The first type of work place is a bank and the second type is a funeral home, where I
studied the difference of employee reactions. The result confirms that the exhaustion and impersonalization of
employees appear much higher in the funeral home than in the bank. This suggests a new phenomenon that
there is a difference in the employee reaction depending on places.
