Automobile Accident Sensing Unit and Notifier using Arduino

With the growing population the use of vehicles has become superfluous, and this has led to the
accidents increasing at an alarming rate resulting in a large loss of property and human life. This project aims
at finding the occurrence of any accident and reporting the location of accident to the previously coded
numbers so that immediate help can be provided by ambulance or the relatives concerned. In developing
countries like India the accident ratio is growing in a rapid rate due to poor road system, disobeying the traffic
rules, drunken drive and using mobile phones while driving. To overcome this problem an Arduino based
accident sensing unit is developed in which it has GPS and GSM technology, where GPS is used to locate the
victims' position and share it to the emergency services. Sensors like Alcoholic sensor, Vibration sensor,
MEMS sensor, Temperature sensor are used to detect the accident in various aspects. So that it will help us to
reduce the death ratio occurs due to accidents by giving immediate medical attention to the victims.
