An Approach to Display High Dynamic Range Image on Android Platform

Abstract

The High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography offers significantly better quality than conventional digital images stored in Low Dynamic Range (LDR) formats. Here we are showing some methods which are implemented on Low Dynamic range devices to produce High Dynamic Range Image. And then implements the best method of Displaying High Dynamic Range Image on Low Dynamic Range Devices that works by taking different pictures with different exposure value, aligning them, merging them into one single picture, and finally doing a tone mapping operation in order to display the High Dynamic Range image on Low Dynamic Range Device like Android Phone
