Abstract

According to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Section 8 protects all persons in Canada against unreasonable seizure and search. Also, this right ensures that the Canadians have a constitutionally enforced right to privacy and that the state is not expected to intrude unreasonably.
