Q: What are all the type of manuscripts can we submit in The SIJ?

A: Research Paper, Survey / Review Paper, Tutorial Paper, Extended version of conference or journal paper. If the manuscript is an extended version of a conference or journal paper, footer needs to be added to the manuscript with the conference title or journal paper link.

Q: What is Special Annual Issue?

A: The accepted papers that potentially have national or international significance will also be considered for publication in the "Special Annual Issue". Special Annual Issue will cover the best manuscripts published under all the journals in The SIJ. This issue will be published every year in the month of February.

Q: How often is the journal published?

A: All the journals under The SIJ published on monthly basis, a total of 12 issues per year.

Q: How fast can The SIJ evaluate my manuscript?

A: The SIJ is committed to speedy evaluation of manuscripts. The SIJ aims to reach a final decision on all manuscripts within 5 days of submission.

Q: Can The SIJ support national conferences, workshops and seminars?

A: Yes, The SIJ supports the national / international conferences, workshops and seminars relevant to engineering, science and management. The SIJ will encourage the organizers by providing co-sponsorship and promoting the conference programs through our website.

Q: How do I become a member of the editorial board?

A: The SIJ looking for qualified researchers as members of the editorial board. Interested candidates can join in our editorial board by sending their complete information to Editor@TheSIJ.com.

Q: Can I submit my manuscript in double-column?

A: The authors should submit their manuscript only in single-column format (authors should strictly follow the specified margin setup, font size and line spacing as specified in manuscript preparation guidelines). Length of the manuscript should not exceed 20 pages, including text, figures and references. In general, readers are comfortable with manuscripts of length less than 10 pages.

Q: What is the citation format in The SIJ?

A: Citations should be done using square brackets as like [1], [3, 4].

Q: Can we suggest reviewers for reviewing my manuscript?

A: Yes, the authors can suggest reviewers name in the corresponding space during online submission. Suggesting reviewers is not mandatory.

Q: How many reviewers will review my manuscript?

A: Article will be selected by the AE and send to three expert peer reviewers (One Indian Reviewer, one Foreign Reviewer and one Guest Reviewer). Guest reviewers will be selected based on the relevance of manuscript's application.

Q: Will they send any sample copy to us before publication?

A: Yes, a sample final copy will be sent to corresponding author's email for confirmation. If there is any correction in alignment or spelling mistake, the author has to reply within 4 days (There is no possibility to change anything in title, methodology or results after double-blind peer-review process). If there is no reply from the author, then it is confirmed that the sample copy is final.

Q: When should I submit the revised manuscript after review process?

A: The corresponding author has to submit the revised manuscript within 7 days together with the Scanned copy of Copyright Form and payment proof to Submit@TheSIJ.com. If the revised manuscript, copyright form and payment proof are not received within 7 days, it will be considered withdrawn.

Q: Does The SIJ require copyright transfer?

A: Yes, the authors retain copyright of their work but must grant an exclusive publication license to The SIJ. The copyright transfer covers the complete right to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprints, translations, electronic form (offline, online) or any other reproductions of similar nature.

Q: Is the journal copy, color or black-and-white in the print version?

A: Art may appear in color only in the on-line version of the journal. Black-and-white versions will be used by the publisher for the print version. For this reason, if you are transmitting artwork in color please make sure that the colors you use will work well when converted to grayscale.

Q: How to pay the manuscript publication charge?

A: There are different ways to deposit manuscript publication charge:

1. By directly depositing fees through nearby bank in account number.

2. By transferring fees through their net banking option.

3. By taking Cheque / Demand Draft (DD).

4. Using PayPal Account / Credit or Debit Card.

Amount equal to USD ($) charges will apply for all countries (except INDIA).

Q: How can we get more than one hard copy of the issue in which our article will get publish?

If the author wants to get one additional hard copy of published issue, he/she has to pay 1000 INR / 30 USD extra charges. The SIJ will dispatch the hard copies within 5 days of on-line publication by courier.
